The Company
HTH Chemicals was founded in 1990 and specialises in trading raw materials for the plastic industry throughout Europe. We have built many rewarding and lasting relationships over the years and cooperate closely with industry giants in both Eastern and Western Europe.
At present, our focus is on growth. We mean to double our sales over the next three years. To that end, we have narrowed our product focus, expanded our trade into additional European countries and improved our services. We have specialists on staff to handle logistics and administration, guaranteeing smooth and swift service to our suppliers and customers. We also offer producers a number of additional services, including direct access to customers, credit, insurance, transport and payment.

Armando started trading plastics more than 20 years ago and he wouldn’t give it up for the world. It’s like tennis or golf to him, a change to apply and further improve his skills. As major shareholder and managing director of HTH Chemicals tasked with the company’s day-to-day management, Armando still has that fire that drives him to find the next big opportunity.

Wiebo got his start in plastics right here at HTH Chemicals after finishing his bachelor in Marketing. He worked for a few other companies since then, building his network and becoming an outstanding salesman in the process. Wiebo returned to HTH as a senior trader specializing in sales. He gets a kick out of helping his clients by finding them great deals again and again.

Michael is an organiser and a communicator who loves football and traveling. He enjoys negotiating and matching supply and demand. He especially enjoys closing deals, since that always means a lot of happy faces and stronger relationships for the next time around. No surprise then, that Michael spends much of his time on the phone.

Gerben is an outgoing, optimistic, principled man who is always precise and thorough in his work. He left HTH for a time to strike out on his own. As an entrepreneur and in the employ of others, Gerben learned much, both in the field and in the classroom. He returned to become HTH Chemicals’ financial manager in July of 2016.

Michel is an honest and optimistic person who loves a challenge. His goal is to ensure smooth order handling guaranteeing satisfied relations. During his previous employment, as floor manager in a distribution centre, he learned the importance of reliability. Problems do not exist, finding solutions is more like it!

Peter is punctual, reliable, and eager to learn. He started his career in logistics as order picker and worked his way up. Originally Peter is from Slovakia and as a result he speaks multiple languages. This makes him a perfect asset as logistics planner for HTH chemicals. As former pro-football player Peter knows all about endurance and determination. Giving-up is not in his vocabulary.
